- Add peanuts and roast it..
- Now add besan and curd mixture. Mix well and cook for a min and add sufficient water..
- Add all spices. Cook for 5 - 7 mins..
- Adjust consistency according to the requirement..
- Now take out in serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves..
- Serve with steamed rice..
I have made this with Peanut Curds to make it probiotic as well. Conventionally Sol Kadi is made with Coconut Milk and wet Kokam. Since I wanted the drink to be probiotic, I replaced the Coconut Milk with buttermilk made of peanut curds. Stir and saute till the raw aroma of the ginger goes away. The Peanut Kadhi has been carefully formulated to avoid items that cannot be had on fasting days.
